An intimate elopement at Spirea Nature Trail & Alouette Lake
I’ve got a soft spot for October weddings, so when these two reached out to book their fall elopement with West Coast Wed, at Golden Ears Provincial Park, which is just an hour from Vancouver, I was overjoyed. One of the many reasons I love coordinating elopements for couples, is I really get to focus on the lighting that shows off the most dramatic landscapes, like the lush mossy forest of Spirea Nature trail, Gold Creek and Alouette Lake. Golden Ears is so unique in that it offers so much variety in one tight knit location. It makes it one of my favorite spots for an intimate elopement.

From the couple:
“I don’t have enough great things to say about Amanda! She exceeded our expectations and had us in complete awe when we saw our photos. They were breathtaking! She made us feel so comfortable infront of the camera. She was polite, positive, goofy and forward; qualities we really appreciate with a photographer and planner. The whole process was so seamless and stress free thanks to her! We cannot recommend Amanda enough and can’t wait for future shoots with her!”
